Have you heard of Milk Thistle, Dandelion or Chrysanthemum? These are flowering plants or weeds your call. These actually have chemicals in them that aid the Liver.
Each does something a little different but these are very useful in aiding the toxic liver of those with Hep C.
My early days of being sick I picked up the book Mother Earth's Natural Herbs in 1996. I did not know the workings of herbs back then.
I just believed that what I needed came from the earth I live on, not out of a synthetic chemical lab.
I remember reading that dandelion was good for the liver. So I had lots of dandelions on my property to use. I began washing the roots and eating them raw. Oh my they were bitter! I dried them in winter and made tea with them. I had no idea on the how too's I just did it. Funny how I experimented with not much knowledge.
Well I was doing something, compared to nothing but sleeping every extra moment I could.
Any experiments that you have tried that worked or didn't?

Do you have Hepatits C?
So any thoughts to your own experience to write down and share with others?
Currently I am drinking a homemade smoothy of rasberries, blueberries, pineapple, strawberries with amino acids made by Twin Labs called Amino Fuel and a with a scoop of enzyme powder I picked up at Sprouts grocery store.
I find I have more stamina and focus with my daily drink. Do you do something that works?

I have Hepatitis C. I am wanting to find others who want to talk about what they have done or are doing with their treatment. I wanted to find a place that had positive things to share about Hepatits C, having it I didn't have very many known options offered by the medical doctors, nor was there any thing positive about the disease.
In the begining I tried many different products being sold as a cure. I bought and ate lots of different supplements some helped but not alot, I was still wicked tired and my digestion was all messed up. So I wanted to ask if any supplements helped out anyone?
When I finally found out why I was so sick, I did not choose the options given to me. I just couldn't believe that was all I had. I ended up moving to California for work reasons.
As with my accident that happened getting HepC, I found acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to bring my liver panel/blood work back to normal by accident. Accidents happen for a reason in my world. I was learning to surf and twisted my ankle. As in California I went to see an Acupuncturist. For as the old saying goes " When in Rome do as the Romans". Fortunately I was able to go to a place where one of the acupuncturist was a Liver Cancer Specialist.
Before this time there wasn't very much hope for feeling better. But as I see it now I want to post a blog and find others who are willing to post other options that may not be know to others.
Please share what you have found.

First orginal attempt at sharing
Do you have Hepatitis C? I do I got as an employee working in surgery. I got stuck by accident., but does anything really happen by accident in the plan of life...?
I ended up getting acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to make the massive positive changes in my liver pannels, the blood work. Anybody else experience such a response?
I wanted to ask others their opinion on their health care with Hep C, and also wanted to come up with a place to talk of hope, inspiration, some things positive about the experience, treatment and ideas that really happened and work.
When I was first getting sick with the effects I was trying all kinds of new age hyped up supplements, drinks, stones and trinkets in the late 90's. No I didn't believe that they could cure me but I was willing to experiment. Yeah know...? I found some aided my health but it didn't take away the exhaustion or the GI problems. I just kept hope and tried alot of different stuff.
I didn't like the doctor's therapies. I have always thought that there are alternatives and options in everything we do. Anyways I got into Chinese Medicine by accident truly. Sprained my ankle learning how to surf, went to see an acupuncturist. Do what the Californian's do when they get hurt- the old saying do like the Romans when in Rome.
With all I did. As I look back now I have wished that there was a place to talk about what I was going through and a better positive view of what life can be with Hep C. So this is my chance to see how we can benefit each other with experiences, hope, inspiration and everything that has positive constructive use. I know I needed HOPE, desperately.
So Please Write lets support each other!! Leslie
